Today, we flipped the script.
Normally, my husband takes our little one to kindergarten
so I can begin the day with my morning walk.
But today, I offered to go — so he could drop into his own Deep Flow,
powered by the writing plan we had carefully crafted together.
The little one was surprised at first: Why not Daddy?
But he adjusted quickly — laughing at my jokes, holding my hand, soaking in the softness.
I had barely arrived when the message came:
Short kindergarden day today — staffing shortage.
So, my own schedule? Gone.
I dropped him off with extra hugs and calm presence.
I adapted.
I pivoted with purpose.
I focused in.
Tended to my digital garden on LinkedIn.
Made a clear decision:
As of today — retroactive to May — I step into full visibility as being
FACE Mental Coach.
Not tentatively. Not halfway.
Fully. Boldly. Softly.
Radically me.
And then, midday magic:
A podcast recording with a radiant speaker coach
I had met weeks ago at a book launch.
We spoke of Radical Sensitive Leadership.
Of Ikigai. Of my journey. Of FEMILIENZ —
the powerful interplay of feminine essence and resilience.
I shared about the children’s book I wrote for my own kids,
and my dreams for what’s next.
The podcast’s title?
“Wie kann sie nur?”
A phrase I’ve heard so often, it might as well be my second name.
How can she?
By trusting her path. By swimming against the current.
By reshaping systems in alignment with her values.
After the podcast — a quick warm conversation.
And then: life resumed.
Pickup time at kindergarten.
Swing by the dry cleaners.
Bakery stop: coffee, cocoa, almond croissant — our sacred little ritual.
Yes, the sugar might be a bit much,
but the joy? Just right.
It rained softly.
We sat inside, cozy.
Summer rain on glass. Quiet glances. Pure presence.
At home, we read. We laughed.
My husband stayed in flow — focused, steady.
And later, we walked to pick up the middle child from the train station.
The oldest had texted earlier — a little shopping detour with her friend.
Freedom unfolding.
Then grocery shopping.
Roller rides and carry-me moments.
One child, one scooter, one heavy bag.
The real-life equation of parenthood.
We arrived home, all five of us.
The girls now so independent.
The little one still in full snuggle mode.
Dinner was waiting.
I texted: Running eight minutes late.
No one minded.
The rhythm of the day was already set.
And now, as I sit here writing, I realize:
This practice — this nightly reflection — is the most powerful positive intervention I know.
My walk through the nature reserve.
The birdsong. The scent of late-spring grass.
The golden evening light.
This is therapy.
This is clarity.
This is home.
I feel deep gratitude for today.
For the podcast that will go live on June 20.
For the joy of sharing my truth.
For the invitation to lead, to heal, to create.
Tonight, my goal is simple:
Send out three new applications —
Each aligned with my calling.
And start mapping a special event, both logistically and energetically.
But that’s for tomorrow.
Today was a dance of presence, family, flexibility, and purpose.
And maybe — just maybe —
this is what radical sensitive leadership really looks like.
